What should I expect for my first facial at NRxSKIN?

SKIN INDIVIDUALITY

Each individual's skin reacts differently to facials, and each type of facial will vary in the skin's response. In general, your skin maybe slightly flushed and hydrated. You may have a dewy look, unless you request a treatment a matte appearance.

Problematic/acne skin may experience more reddening or puffiness at the extraction site. This is normal and will calm by the end of the day - you should see a healing process 2-3 days following your facial. Your first visit we will test your tolerance and do a lighter detoxing facial. Please contact us, if something pops up and you need a ZitZap.

Exfoliation - Depending on what type of exfoliation is used for your facial, you may experience flaking or the release of dry skin. If irritation occurs, please notify us so we can alter your next facial in the areas that your skin is experienced the irritation.

In order to give you the best facial treatments suited to the unique individual you are, you will be asked to fill out a client in-take form. You may fill out this client in-take before arrival or upon arrival.

If this is your first visit, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. This will ensure that you have a reasonable amount of time to become familiar with the area's parking, the location of the suite, and to fill out a new client in-take form if you have not digitally submitted it.

Follow Up Facials

Your appointment will generally be 10-15 minutes longer than your facial treatment time for the checking in and out process. You may prepay for your service to expedite this process.

Event Facials

Facials are a great prep for an event. BUT due to the variance in skin reactions, it's great to have at least one facial with me before that special event to measure your skin's responses and its needs to maximize its benefits for your special day.
